The Republicans’ tax cut for the rich and corporations will create less revenue. To make up for that less revenue, Republicans are going to cut Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. It’s a fact. You can look it up.
Those who are complaining that the new Republican tax plan will increase the debt by over a trillion dollars in the next decade obviously do not remember that the Obama administration increased it by about that much every year for eight years.
Thank you, Monroe Tornadoes, for keeping it classy and acting like ladies and gentlemen.
I grew up in the ’40s and ’50s and I was hungry most of the time. My daddy went out to work, but back in those days, black folks didn’t get the good jobs.
The reason Southwest Georgia has high rates of diabetes and obesity is these greasy-food cafes some people eat at.
The government of Albany is not senior-citizen friendly. They’re better off living somewhere else.
Don’t live in Albany so don’t know which commissioner has this district, but he or she is doing their constituents a great disservice on the railroad crossing list. There are a couple of axle-busters on Cason Street south of Oglethorpe that have been that way for years.
Sen. Rubio told Newsweek it will be necessary to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid to offset the $1 trillion deficit the tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations will incur. Of course, all the IQ 64 Trump supporters will shout “fake news.”
There has been no proof that Roy Moore has done anything. The accusations are only there to try to sway the votes. Show me the proof.
Republicans in Alabama would rather vote for a sexual predator than a Democrat.
Does anyone know where Auburn can get a sandbox? Those Tigers got the crap beat out of them.
I don’t know who’s in charge of the Christmas decorations for Albany now, but that mess downtown is tacky.
David Perdue and Johnny Isakson, go back and pick up your spines where you left them on the floor where you voted.
The Democrat squawker says that they passed the tax reform without reading it. Well, that is exactly what they did with Obamacare. Don’t guess your memory is that long.
Al Gore is still out there fighting the good fight to save our planet. Good for him. Are there any other Libs still out there? Let us hear from you.
Hear about the fast-food worker in Detroit — this is not a joke — who had Hep A and spread it around? Yum. Let’s go eat out today.
You keep talking about litter in the streets in Albany, how do you think we’re going to get like Chicago if we don’t continue that trend?
I live in East Albany and the city did not volunteer to repair the pot holes. I called 311 every time I saw one and they got in touch with the city. That’s how they got filled.
To all the squawkers about food stamps: Just get on your knees and be thankful that you don’t need them.
The more I read The Squawkbox, the smarter I get.
