Thank you so much for recognizing Pearl Harbor Day on the front page of The Herald. It did my heart good to see it. So many of our younger generation don’t know what it was all about. Even for those of us who were children when it happened, it had a big impact on us. God bless you for remembering Pearl Harbor.

Trump moves embassy to Jerusalem; Hamas, Hezbollah to cause chaos and killings against Jews and infidels worldwide. Oh, wait … hmm, isn’t that what they do anyway?

Courageous move by Trump to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. This decision has been delayed for over 20 years for fear of Muslim violence, though the violence never stopped.

Time for the lawyers to review all cases where Sheriff Hobby testified against anyone, as he has demonstrated the potential of actions inconsistent with proper procedure.

Squawker, Georgia will have enough players to handle the Sooners. Just think, your team will be staying home watching us this time.

The new hospital in Lee County will give us a choice in health care, which is a given. But, Lee County commissioners are delusional in thinking that competition will drive health care costs lower.

Squawker, I am thankful I don’t have to be on food stamps, but I would also be thankful if I didn’t have to pay others to be on food stamps.

Trump’s team has publicly claimed the obvious, that Trump thinks he is above the law. When will his supporters have the insight and foresight to reject his assault on our nation’s institutions and character? The next tyrant may not share their views.

SEC a weak conference? SEC is one of the strongest conferences out there, even has its own TV network. Good rivalries are those who take turns beating the other; otherwise, it is not a rivalry. Don’t get mad at Georgia or Auburn because your team wasn’t good enough to make it.

It’s imperative that the athletic director go outside the system to bring in a coach for Westover. We’ve got to get coaches with proven track records coming to Dougherty County.

Way to go, President Trump. It took a real man to finish what President Clinton started in 1992.

Jerusalem has been a part of Israel since the Lord took it from the Jebusites and changed the name from Jebus to Jerusalem.

I agree with the squawker that says after watching the 6 o’clock weather, they don’t know what the weather is. Why can’t they just give the weather and quit the hand signals and the drama?

Listening to Shepard Smith on Fox News, President Trump should already be in front of a firing squad.
