I was just wondering why The Albany Herald refers to the civic center as the Albany Civic Center when it was named after James H. Gray Sr. after he died. It was known as the James H. Gray Sr. Civic Center. I’m not aware that the Albany City Commission has changed it to the Albany Civic Center.

Why does Albany State University need two campuses when the attendance is half what it was when they were Albany State University and Darton State College?
