A giant has fallen. God bless and godspeed, Billy Graham.

Carlton, God made us for his pleasure and pets for our pleasure. Heaven will be right here on Earth this time. I feel your pet Luna will be waiting for you for that walk if you make it.

“Dance Lessons” at Theatre Albany was excellent. It dealt with circumstances and change and how they affect people. Courage, kindness and compassion were the lessons found in the play.

After the last performance, Theatre Albany has hit a cultural all-time low.

The person who complained about the play should stick to Disney movies.

Democrats claim they don’t discriminate, yet Carlton feels old workers should be replaced by young workers. I would challenge the work knowledge, skills and work ethic from an old timer against a young whippersnapper any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

In March 1981 john Hinckley attempted to kill Ronald Reagan using a Rohm revolver containing six cartridges. Reagan and three others were wounded. Can you imagine what would have happened if Hinckley had been able to get an AR-15?

If Sanford Bishop cannot support a ban on assault weapons or to strengthen background checks because he is a paid agent of the NRA, then it is time for a new congressman.

These Florida school kids who believe they will do good by yelling at Congress or the Florida Legislature are mistaken. The best good will come if every state approves teachers carrying weapons and maybe linking health records data bases to a new weapons data base.

Liberals and Democrats are hollering about 18 schools this year. Not true. There’s only been two school shootings this year when students were on campus.

How does someone living in Poulan know so much about what goes on in Chicago and Baltimore?

I’d like to know what the city commissioners plan to do about the wild hogs in Riverside Cemetery. Our loved ones deserve to rest in peace.

It has taken the city of Albany and the city manager this long to realize the Civic Center should not be run like a gymnasium by the recreation department. Once you realized all these other cities’ arenas were run by a company and Albany’s was still run by its own city, that was your own fault.

Here’s a special news update from Fog Bottom Holler: There is no news.

All presidents lie. Trump lies are least consequential because no one is hurt. Compare that with Bush’s WMDs in Iraq, and Obama’s you can keep your policy if you like it or ISIS is a JV team.

The Russians have been very successful in sowing conflict and dividing our nation. Much of their success can be attributed to assistance from the far left politicians and media.

If the Albany Herald contributor loses a loved one in a gun-related incident in a public place, he might be writing a different kind of letter.

Just how many active local police officers are banned from having a gun due to domestic violence charges?

The only way you’re going to make Albany a good place to live is you have to get rid of the gangs.
