Why do politicians, movie stars, banks and airports have armed security and our schools are defenseless?

The squawker asks how I know what is happening in Baltimore and Chicago. I am a voracious reader, and, with a BA in history, I know how to research. And after two tours in Vietnam where I lost good friends to assault rifles, don’t even go there with me.

People want to blame the NRA for the gun violence, but the NRA is not the one encouraging these people. However, look at your liberal Hollywood movies that glorify gun violence and mass shootings with their violent movies filled with gun violence.

David Perdue and Johnny Isakson both get an A rating from the NRA. That actually means that they have both earned their BPF. Bought and Paid For.

It is so crazy to read or hear people try and defend Trump’s lying. The truth is Trump’s constant lying is indefensible.

Odd that no one called for gun control whenever that Republican congressman got shot at that baseball game or that illegal immigrant that killed those Americans and laughed about it. Guess that did not fit the Democrats’ agenda.

Money can’t buy happiness, but it keeps the kids in touch.

When your children act like leaders and your leaders act like children, you know change is gonna come. Here’s to the children who survived the shooting and are bringing about the change we need.

While I know lots of trash is thrown from cars, the main culprit I see is pickup trucks. Just because trash is in the back does not mean it is secure. All that stuff blows out all over the place. Secure your trash in the back of your trucks!

We are told “if you see something, say something,” but if the police and FBI are going to fumble the ball, what good does it do?

There are three things I’d like to see happen. I’d like to see God put back in school. I’d like to see Trump go one day without running his mouth. And I’d like to see his wife smile. I’m 90, so think about it.

On the Parkland school killing, why don’t they just sue the FBI and fire all of them?

I’ve never heard of a college football team like Albany State University having only three home games. Does ASU have an athletics director?

What a joke of a football schedule, Albany State. Aren’t you tired of playing Valdosta? Why’d you back out of the game against Florida A&M? Three home games? That’s a joke.

People who voted for Trump should realize in the last budget he cut Medicare and Medicaid, which will hurt old folks and kids.

CNN and MSNBC are talking about the school shooting, the slaughter of 17 kids and what we can do about it. Fox News is talking about Hillary and Benghazi.

Be considerate of others, Please cough into you elbow or cover your mouth when you cough. I can’t afford to be sick.

Our recreation department operates the Civic Center, but they can’t bring the senior games to Albany, and we have one of the best arenas in Georgia.
