On a dirt road I slowed down to reduce the dust for a woman out for a walk. My womenfolk declared the slowing down “creepy.” In the future, dust or mud, pedestrians will be shown no courtesy. No creepy behavior from me! Sorry, ladies.

It’s really embarrassing to ride through Albany see how much trash is on the road. Why can’t they let some of the inmates that are sitting in cells every day get out and earn some of their keep and pick up trash? I’m not against community picking up trash, but these people sitting jail should be picking up this trash.

Seriously, you want me (a math teacher) to put my life on the line so some NRA guys can have fun shooting their AR-15s? Having the right to do something does not make it the right thing to do.

To the squawker about David Perdue and Johnny Isakson getting an A from the NRA, guess what? Sanford Bishop does, too. So, he’s bought and paid for, too, I guess.

The problem is not people having guns; the problem is the wrong people having guns.

Tired of complaints about Trump lying all the time? I can prove he did not. Prior to an official visit, at least 10 times he said he had previously met with Putin and at least 10 times he said he had not, so at least half the time he was telling the truth.

Alcoholics use cars to kill people with. Should we ban cars?

Forget the government. Schools, put metal detectors at the front doors, a police officer with a gun and lock all the doors.

I see the blooming bloomers are in full bloom. That’s so unfortunate for the rest of us, when saggy pants sag down.

Trump said the deputy down in a Florida was a coward for not going into the school building. Kind of like him being a coward not serving his country during the Vietnam War.

Seems we constantly hear about Social Security running out of money. How come you never hear that welfare will run out of money? What’s interesting is the first group “worked for their money,” the second group didn’t.

My 20-year-old one-ton truck is kinda hard sometimes to get in reverse. It rolls a little before it locks. I tapped a car, the judge still charged me $300. I ain’t figured out yet what I was supposed to do.

If you witness a person throwing trash out of a car, is there anything you can do about it?

With all the violence on video games and on TV, what do you expect from our kids? They’re hardhearted with violence and murder.

It’s pathetic that Albany Utilities has not replaced streetlights that I’ve been calling about since last year. The streetlights on M.L. King. The road is so dark it’s dangerous to travel on. Replace the streetlights.

I see where Gene Watson is coming to Albany. He had one of the prettiest songs I’ve ever heard called, “Love on a Hot Afternoon.” That one particular song gets next to me. I don’t know why, just the way he sings it.
