Hey, “I may have went to Westover High,” you forgot to attend grammar class.
Albany, already ranked as the 7th worst city in the country to live in has criminals on the rampage. After Tuesday night’s rampage of four shooting incidents we have three dead and three more wounded. Looks like we’re are headed to No. 1. Who would ever move to Albany?
Four more shootings and three more killings. Albany is going for No. 1, baby!
There’s no way Albany could be the 7th worst city In the nation. They need to re-evaluate that. After the last few weeks, we are bound to be at least 2nd or 3rd.
When you listen to the news on a daily basis and there continue to be multiple shootings, stabbings, killings and robberies, I think the statistics are right. Albany is ranked No. 7 of the worst places to live. The Good Life City no more. There is only One Albany, sure, but it is in a huge mess.
I knew it! DCSS board eliminated Albany High to save a million dollars and now there is talk of a raise for the board.
Please, pay our police officers more, hire additional policemen, fire the current chief, and hire the person who can best keep our city safe!
When are Republicans going to realize Obamacare is like herpes? Once you get it, you can’t get rid of it.
If Albany was not that bad, people would not move.
I retired three months ago, but I think I’m going to come out of retirement and sell crime scene tape. That seems to be big business here in Albany.
When is the city going to spend some money on the Flint River golf course? The greens are terrible and I know one of the commissioners plays out there. Can’t figure out why we can’t get anything done.
What the Republicans are offering may not be worth a tinker’s damn, but neither was Obamacare. Our premiums increased several hundred percent after Obamacare.
Great article, Carlton Fletcher, about middle America needing to speak up. But why is The Herald editorial page a launching pad for right-wing extremists?
The Left has always been intolerant, Carlton, all the way to the 1960s. And you’re a leftist. Look at the way you write. You take no prisoners.
Ninety-six Georgia counties in which there is only one medical insurance carrier. This is not free market. It never has been.
They call Albany the Good Life City, but they should change the name to Dodge City. You dodge all these driving problems, drinking problems, drug problems and gun problems.
On the Dougherty County vs. lee County, they can gripe about Albany and East Albany all they want, but one thing about it, they sure bring the bacon home when the eagle flies, and have been for years and years.
Just heard from USA Today. They said after Tuesday night’s shootings and murders, they rest their case.
For Chief Persley and Jon Howard, I do own a gun and I am a responsible gun owner. Completely responsible. But I have it for my protection and my family’s protection. Thank God for the 2nd Amendment.
