Squawker, you are the one that created your family and you are responsible for them. The government did not create your family and neither is the government (TAXPAYERS) responsible for them. I know a lot of people who are working two jobs to support their family. If you had lived in the “good old days,” you would have supported your family. There were no freebies.

It’s funny to me that Pinky Modeste didn’t say a word about the crime situation in Albany and Dougherty County, all she’s concerned about is the debutantes being white.

As a long-time supporter of the Albany Museum of Art, I am totally opposed to a location changed. Behind closed door, a few people made this decision. Millions will be wasted trying to help downtown development.

I saw on the news about the school shooting, and my question is about all the cars out there. The police officers need to be in the schools, not riding around all over Albany.

I am a 78-year-old Dougherty County resident, and I am sickened that the Dougherty School system administration has wasted $500,000 in such a way. Something needs to be done about it.

By all appearances, the left is clamoring for a war with Russia and maybe China. Trust me, you don’t want war with either one of those nations.
