Kudos to the members of the Albany State football team for partnering with Keep Albany-Dougherty Beautiful by picking up trash last Thursday. What great role models, especially for younger fans. Maybe these younger fans will take this as an incentive not to litter and will also try to convince their parents not to throw trash on the ground.
Someone needs to check into the private slush funds that principals are using to get money off kids at the schools.
Carlton, you are a bitter, vicious, old Socialist. And you are ignorant and misinformed about many things.
Seen in Doublegate recently: Retired physician picking up trash on roadside.
I’m sure those 313,000 new jobs added last month included some Democrats, squawker. So, why would Democrats be upset?
Squawker, you’re not ignoring the excessive squawks on Russia if you’re squawking about ignoring the excessive squawks on Russia.
Russell Gray’s snarky and insensitive remarks to one of our neighbors about her post on the neighborhood watch group directly reflect the type of person he will be in his new position and how he will serve the community. Good luck deleting a squawk, Russell.
Loved the Friday squawker reminding us of the Darrell Sabbs taxpayer-funded non-existence Saturday school at then Darton. Of course, for students that needed “extra” help Mr. Sabbs is still employed at Phoebe Putney. Go figure.
I don’t think I’m alone in noticing the improvement in sports coverage in The Herald of late. Good job, Ron and Chauntel. Maybe the local TV sports folks will take notice.
Bernie Sanders makes a speech about gun control surrounded by armed guards. What a hypocrite.
While the school board decided to throw away $500,000 to a company from Washington (Shop local?) and while Tommy Coleman questioned the program from the beginning, James Bush jumped on Mr. Coleman like a duck on a June bug. Mr. Bush has turned into a bitter and vile person that needs to be replaced.
I will admit that I am no fan of Rex Tillerson, but the way he was treated by Donald Trump was deplorable. He was fourth in line to be president. The Secretary of State deserves better than to be fired by a tweet. Is that what our country has come to, being fired by a telephone tweet?
Albany’s EDC. Is that Economic Development Committee or Economic Destruction Committee?
These kids who were eating Tide pods now think they can march around and tell us how to run the country. They need to stop bullying their classmates so they wouldn’t get the urge to shoot up the school.
Willing to bet that Stormy Daniels has more fingerprints on her posterior than the FBI has in their files.
We are here on earth to do good unto others. What the others are here for, I have no idea.
Squawker, even leaders of the Republican party are quietly trying to convince someone to run against Trump. They don’t like him. Voters see he is a risk and not stable, has too much baggage, and is too vulnerable to outside influences. He will not win a second term.
