How many of those 52 streets to be paved will be on the west side of and cover up all the potholes?
I can’t believe that wild hogs can be in a cemetery. This is terrible. Something needs to be done.
Hate to tell you this, Mr. Logan, but parents aren’t raising their children. They’re expecting taxpayers to do it.
Trump’s son-in-law met with financial investors in the White House, then, magically, days later, got loans to save his businesses. The Trump crime family needs to get out of the White House.
The Democratic Party is trying to manipulate the stock market and trying to tank it so Donald Trump looks bad. If they are successful, it will cost millions of people who have money invested in the stock market.
I don’t understand why the two Republican candidates for governor keep saying they are against sanctuary cities when there are no sanctuary cities in Georgia.
Now I know why President Trump likes Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel. He’s a crook like Trump, and now he’s being investigated. Get ‘em all.
Did the school board sign a half-million-dollar contract with a controversial consultant? One board member said yes and then withdrew her answer. School board attorney said he had not reviewed such a contract. This is crazy.
Casey Cagle publicly threatened to blackmail Delta for the NRA. We are now accepting life in the Twilight Zone.
To the squawker complaining about Trump not serving in the military: Can you explain why you never mention Obama never serving? All Obama did was lie and take America down and give away everything. How many times did Obama meet with Putin and bow to all other foreign dignitaries?
Squawker, I just bought a pistol this week on the internet from Mr. Cabela’s, and Mr. UPS delivered it to my front door without a background check. Pietta 1851 .36 cal. Navy black powder. Also, I could go to a gun show in Georgia and buy a gun from another citizen of the state of Georgia without a background check. Know your gun laws?
Most of these not-for-profits are a joke. These people are carrying home big paychecks and pass on the expense of there business to other taxpayers. An hourly wage earner has to pay his property taxes no matter how much or little they make. The commissioners let them get over on the system.
Delta’s loss is Georgia’s gain. Those tax dollars now go to state funds instead of into Delta’s coffers.
Will Billy Mathis please explain how Lee County can sue opiate manufacturers for costs related to “medical, public health and law enforcement” for Lee County? Dennis Roland, the chairman of Lee County Commission, stated in the same article in the paper “he has not heard of any opioid problems in Lee County so far.” I believe the law term is called “standing” to be involved in this lawsuit. It doesn’t sound like you have much, Mr. Mathis.
Regarding the local shooting homicides: It’s unlikely the suspects were members of the NRA. People kill because they are sick and don’t value life.
