Ken Dyer, unfortunately, a sucker is born every minute, as P.T. Barnum said.

I applaud Pastor Yaz Johnson for the article on his Faith initiative in Friday’s paper. I challenge some of you spineless Christians to step forward and support Pastor Johnson.

To the Squawker talking about UPS going down Vanderbilt Drive: Those are not considered trucks by ICC. They are licensed package-carrying cars. That’s how you get your packages.

It is sad that we as taxpayers and parents have had to endure for years an incompetent School Board and system. Not to check the credentials of a consultant is inexcusable.

Our School Board has demonstrated they are reckless with school funds in giving tacit approval of a $498,000 counseling contract, including Superintendent Dyer’s express approval.

What would be detrimental to this community would be to hire Mr. McCoy. He needs to go.

I can appreciate runners and the reasons they run. It seems they could have had a central starting place so they didn’t block so many streets.

If we got such a big cut in our federal tax, why hasn’t it shown up in our Social Security checks?

The farmers and the dairymen are cleaning up all the land. There ain’t going to be anywhere to hunt. The turkeys and the deer are going to have to find somewhere else to go.

You millennials need to understand, the boomers still rule.

Carlton, keep your liberal self very still when you are sitting in my conservative barber’s chair.

It’s pretty bad when poor politician Anthony Jones has to use his commission credentials to get in free at the downtown Mardi Gras festival while his constituents were paying to get in.

Putin is playing American mainstream media like a cheap fiddle.

Those commissioners that are not approving an individual that’s most qualified, when it’s time to vote, vote them out.

Spending a half-million dollars without a contract? I am through with the Dougherty County School System. I am 79 years old and I refuse to pay any more school taxes, even if our legislators refuse to vote on it.

Attorney Jeff Sessions is the absolute personification of Elmer Fudd.

I am absolutely furious. I pay a bunch of property tax in this county, and I see the DCSS doesn’t know their right hand from their left. This man is not worth $500,000 to do consulting. I’ve had an epiphany that this school board is crooked. This is what makes taxpayers move out of this county.

This Donyall Dickey, if he isn’t a flimflam artist, I don’t know what is. Our school board is either in on the take or they are the dumbest people who ever walked the earth if they can’t see this.

Driving down Highway 19 on a Sunday, thanks to some of your commissioners and officials in our community, things are starting to look better. Maybe people aren’t throwing out as much trash lately. If we continue, maybe we can actually clean up our city.

$500,000 paid out by the Dougherty County Board of Education displays their clueless audacity.

Casey Cagle, we need a governor who brings industry into Georgia, not runs them out.
