For the people who think the NFL players have a right to kneel, I spent four years in the military, retired from both federal and local governments, and worked for three other private employers. In none was I allowed to make partisan political statements by mouth, gesture or apparel while on company time.

We get about zero positive results from our EDC. We should check into national firms that are professionals in industry/business recruiting. Let’s put this most important job in the hands of people who know what to do and have been doing this job for years. The amount we pay the EDC would more than cover the expense.

Instead of paying all these warranty companies every month for your house or your car, why not put the money in a jar and bury it in your backyard?

“You can never go home again.” That’s so true for those unfortunate few whose ancestors actually founded the United States because they’re now strangers in their own land.

The reason some women have to use Peach Cards is they’re married to or involved with men who refuse to support their own children.

The Florida Gators need a new coach. I hope they get the throwin’ Mayowen.

The Bible says in Heaven each person will own property to work in, so you’re not just going to lie around and eat manna sandwiches someone else produced.

When Trump opens his mouth, it’s fake news.

I found another entry for my book on things I’ve never seen and thought never would happen. Now you can get pink tools in pink tool boxes. I’m almost afraid of what’s the idea behind that.

These lights they advertise on TV for decorations are the tackiest things I’ve ever seen.

These only reason these people want to protect sanctuary cities and Hollywood and Washington, D.C., is they have illegal aliens cleaning and cooking for them and they’re not paying them hardly anything.

I agree with the squawker about the self-promoting Subadan. The brochure is just her ego coming out. She has robbed Peter to pay Paul. When will the commissioners get an accounting of where the money came from? Many maintenance items are not being done. Safety is an issue. Just look at 401 Pine and all the street lights that are out.

I was in a large grocery store the other day to purchase some onions. I saw a sign that said “Vidalia Onions.” I did not know that Vidalia onions were available this time of the year, so I looked on the sticker that was on the onions and it said they came from Peru. I did not know they grew Vidalia onions in Peru. Needless to say, I did not purchase them. I bought some onions that were grown in the USA.

The shortest sentence is “I am.” The longest is “I do.”

I’m a Georgia Tech fan; however, I have never seen a major college football program where the players can’t tackle and can’t pass.

To Georgia Tech squawker: Last year GT (9-4) 28, UGA (8-5) 27 in Athens. I will throw you a bone on that one, but this year UGA (11-1) 38, GT (5-6) 7 in Atlanta. Different season!
