Christmas is such a beautiful, wonderful time of year, but take time to see the flowers that are blooming now and the trees. The fall trees are absolutely gorgeous.
I bought my wife a big tool box about 40 years ago. She left mine alone and she was very protective of hers. I thought it was a great idea.
It is hypocritical for the Dems to condemn Roy Moore and to give Al Franken and John Conyers a pass.
I don’t mind people who need help using the Peach Cards for food and other necessities. I do mind seeing well-dressed young women with braids and long nails using the Peach Card to buy huge birthday cakes and Cokes at the grocery.
All these people defending that lady with paying groceries with food stamps with six kids are probably on welfare and food stamps with six kids of their own.
Looking at the story on the college and career academy, the school is good and can help fight this poverty. I’ve been at meetings with pastors, some of them at pretty big churches, and I don’t understand why they are fighting this. Maybe they think if we can pull out of poverty and get into the mindset of success some of their members won’t drink their Kool-Aid.
Trump showed disrespect toward Native American veterans by using a political slur to refer to Elizabeth Warren as Pocahontas. Trump stood in front of a picture of Andrew ‘Trail of Tears’ Jackson and tried to praise these American Code-Breakers for helping to win a war.
At this point in the year, Trump has vacationed three times more than Obama did in his first year.
We’ve been trying the “everyone has to have a degree” global service-based economy since the early 1980-s. It’s been an abysmal failure. Maybe Ken Dyer has been under rock or safely tucked away with a government job.
This so-called sexual harassment’s been going on since the beginning of time. And it’ll go on till the end of time. This is just another one of those things that come up and after a while it blows away.
The Georgia Bulldogs get a second chance to play the Auburn Tigers in the SEC Championship. Will the Bulldogs choke again?
I’m 71 and I’ve always tried to keep up with the news, but all this mess in Washington has gotten ahead of me. I don;’t even try to keep up with it anymore.
Here’s a topic you don’t see in The Squawkbox every day, if you go to the bathroom and it’s No. 1 and it’s not clear, drink a half-gallon of whole milk and it will go absolutely clear. Not trying to be nasty, just help out a few folks.
What more does President Trump have to do or say to convince you he’s a liar? He said he turned down the cover of Time magazine. Time magazine said that is a lie, they never considered him, they did not have that conversation, nor is that the way they do business.
All I want for Christmas is to have Eugene Robinson removed from The Herald, permanently!
