To the Tuesday squawkers: Demonstrating during our national anthem and disrespecting our flag that my fellow warriors had died for, has no place at a sporting event. Having served my country in two different combat areas, yes, I am proud to be patriotic; apparently you are not.

If the police could eliminate the drug dealers, most of the murders and violent crimes would slow down.

Friday is the 40th anniversary of the Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash. So, crank up “Freebird” and say a prayer for the band.

Now wait a minute. We started the Iranian nuclear program under the shah. I guess we wanted their oil so they wouldn’t be burning it in inefficient fossil-fuel plants. We aided the North Korean nuclear program when Clinton sent them light-water reactors. And now we’re going to war with both of them? That’s sheer genius.

In the judicial system, people have more favorable outcomes when they pay for a lawyer than when they use a public defender. I’ve seen it several times.

Medical insurance company profits are up 200 to 500 percent. This is a good thing. Let’s raise taxes on the taxpayer and keep this going.

With former presidential adviser Steve Bannon prodding the GOP to right-wing extremists, thanks to politicians like Sarah Palin, we ended up with Obamacare.

On Tuesday the Dow Jones hit 23,000. Thanks to Obama’s fiscal policy, we’re much better off. When will Big Donny give us a tax cut?

For you, squawker, let me be more specific. Obama was the first president who knew the life experiences of people of color and it unnerves you, because you’re probably a racist who’s still afraid of diversity.

To the driver in the white pickup truck Tuesday: In Lee County, we stop for school buses that have flashing lights on. Whether or not the arm is out, it means they’re stopping, so I stopped. You almost rammed into the rear of my car doing 55-60 mph. If it’s after 3:30, watch for buses!

Obama said two things I’m reminded of. “Dig your way out”: I’ll hand any of y’all a shovel and let’s see you dig your way out. “Lead from behind”: I’ve always been told if you ain’t the lead dog, the view never changes.

By kneeling during the anthem, players are saying America is basically institutionally racist and evil. What the flag and anthem stand for is the freedom only under which change can occur. They should find a different way to protest.

If Trump hasn’t already called the families, you can bet when he does he won’t blame a video for their deaths.

If the NFL players want to protest, they should do it after the games are over and march in the streets.

The liberal Democrats’ narrative continues to collapse. In the tradition of their revered Saul Alinsky, the liberals accuse their detractors of what they themselves do.

As of this morning, my banking account has not been compromised by hackers. Upon more examination, we found my mortgage has been compromised twice for $3,000 each time. I knew nothing about it, and the bank never notified me either time.
