Welfare is the root of Albany’s violence. There needs to be added incentives for people to be married rather than penalize one for being married. People think, “Why get married if I will make less money?”

Squawker, John Lewis was on the front lines of the Civil Rights movement facing the snarling dogs, fire hoses, and batons raining blows. Jimmy Carter brought about the Israel-Egypt peace accord and at 93 still travels the world building houses for Habitat for Humanity. You want to see a real loser? Look in the mirror!

Javis Walker may have had developmental issues, but he also had a kind and courageous heart that led him to try and intervene to protect others in danger. May God rest his soul, and may his killer get the justice he so greatly deserves!

I really appreciated seeing the two young sisters at the Take a Stand rally on Oct. 25. It takes a young generation to prevent violence in the next. That mom really took a stand and showed her daughters what was right and how to make people think about what they’re doing. I applaud her.

The University System of Georgia is trying to shore up ASU? That is like building a ship with a huge hole in the hull and then trying to make it seaworthy as it is sinking. Their decision and the way they are going about this consolidation shows their total incompetence.

The Libs say Trump ain’t wrapped too tight, but he proved to be smarter than they are by getting elected.

If all the Albany ministers invited all of the Albany area gangs to meet with them perhaps they could convince them to start good gangs, which could help Albany, rather than what we currently have that are ruining our Good Life City motto.

For all you Christians out there, Sunday has never been the Sabbath. It is Saturday. Find a preacher that can prove me wrong.

Before the college football season started, squawker was confused as to why they had the Bulldogs picked to win the SEC East, saying they need to go through the Gators first. After Saturday’s 42-7 victory over Florida, I guess the squawker is less confused now.

Instead of protesting Black Lives Matter and protesting White Lives Matter, why doesn’t everybody get together and protest All Lives Matter?

Dawson could sure use a KFC. I was told that the one in Albany on Dawson Road most of the customers are from Dawson anyway. We could use one right there on 520.

How can Trump be getting it done? Trump can’t even repeal and replace Obamacare with a majority of Republicans.

I have called this in before to 311. They keep talking about blight. Why don’t they look at Holloway right where you turn off South Slappey? The closed furniture store has junk out there and then if you go down Holloway, it’s nothing but garbage.

Remember when American money diodn’t look like Monopoly money? Ah, the good ol’ days.

For valid reasons, the Wall Street Journal says investigator Mueller should resign.

President Trump did not belittle a Gold Star widow. Not in the least.
