If Leesburg and Americus continue getting all the new economic development (plants and jobs), Albany will become a mere suburb of these two towns.

To the squawker that thinks Kim Jong-un would be a better president, I suggest he move to North Korea and then report back how that works for him.

Squawker asks, “Would a liberal own that many guns?” Apparently this one did and used it to kill all those Republicans.

I will support gun control laws if someone can explain why, with the strictest gun control and a Democratic mayor, Chicago is murder capital of the world. Year-to-date in Chicago: more than 2,900 shots fired, killing 527 and wounding 2877.

Yeah, it looks like Carlton Fletcher’s a legend in his own mind.

If you kept up with the news, you’d see it was a presidential order to declare the flags to be at half-staff at government buildings. The local companies in the area have followed suit.

The secretary of state called the president a moron. The vast majority of Americans already knew he was that.

I’m so excited to see the article about the Grille House coming to downtown Albany. Sounds like a great restaurant. However, the next to the last paragraph turned me completely off. Ribbon-cutting by the Georgia African-American Chamber of Commerce. What’s wrong with the Albany Chamber of Commerce?

Show some respect, Albany businesses. How about lowering your flags to half-staff?

To the squawker who complained about the Burger King gentleman feeding the feral cats, the cats out there have been caught and either neutered or spayed.

It’s bad enough to live in a small town with the highest utility cost of any town in the state of Georgia. What’s worse is they will not tell us why. They’re playing us for fools. I’m leaving, and the town is Colquitt.

You have abused me for the last time. I’ve took you to the store, the drug store and the bank, and all to save your boy from having to do it — so he can sleep. Guess what. I’m not there anymore.

Attention hotels: If one person brings 30 pieces of luggage and they’re staying by themselves, there may be a problem.

It’s a good thing I don’t own one of the big-box home improvement stores. I was in one and the employee told me he didn’t have time to help me right then. He was on his break. He’d be hunting another job.

I can tell the holiday season is coming up. I saw my first Hershey’s Kiss commercial. It’s all gonna start again.

Finally, Secretary of State Tillerson says what America is thinking.

Walt Specht’s article on the Thursday Perspectives page and the No. 7 squawker have a lot in common.

So, Mr. Specht, what is the solution to the problem?

Police brutality is not non-existent if it happens to someone you love.

I hope all you folks opening restaurants downtown have got some extra britches ‘cause you’re going to lose the ones you got on.

Ted Kaczynski, Bill Ayres, SDS, SNCC, Symbionese Liberation Army, the Weathermen — all liberals. You going to try to deny that, too, squawker?
