I childproofed my house, but they still get in.
Thank you, Albany Utilities, for getting the power on so quickly Monday. We appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
Squawker says, “Republicans … Your president is compromising with the Democrats and selling you out.” No, Trump is warning Republican congressmen to start passing policies or he will make deals with the devil (Democrats).
I hope those shoe store looters in Florida know that they will not be able to wear their new Air Jordans in jail. Typical!
No surprise the traffic lights were not working. Half the street lights have not been working for several months. Add eight more on Whispering pines to that list.
For the sake of our children and grandchildren, can we please talk about global warming now?
At least us Trump supporters have our high school diplomas. You Trump haters don’t even have a GED.
Squawker says, “You Republicans got played.” No, Trump left the problem for Congress to handle, which is what the Constitution says.
Forget Irma. If the ravages of the internet and NAFTA continue, our society is headed for the scrap heap.
Sunday’s paper showed where five bills were introduced in the House. All five passed with a huge majority. However, Rep. Sanford Bishop only voted yea on one. He never votes the way we want him to. Throw him out.
Looky hear, now, Irma, got my Daisy Red Ryder with me. You don’t wanna mess with me, mama.
If you live in Early County, you should be prepared to defend yourself. Sunday, a weather alert told us to check on the elderly because when the wind reached 40 mph, they wouldn’t respond to any calls. Also be prepared to defend yourself if a burglar tries to break in. The police take about an hour to come to your aid or they do not come at all.
All those people in a mile-long line waiting over an hour to get Krystals just shows how helpless people are making their own meals. Had Krystal, Waffle House and all restaurants had closed for a week, I guess these helpless people would starve to death.
Oh, my goodness, EMC must have taken lessons from Albany Utilities during the recent tornadoes. During this storm, they are not answering the phone. EMC, please come back with your great customer service and answer the phones when customers call in power outages.
God allows storms to come to help us place our trust in him and to show love to one another. Let’s not wait for storms to come. Let us love one another at all times.
Wake up, people, wake up and smell the roses. You just got blessed by missing a storm. God is in control.
Why did Albany Utilities stop working at 6th and 7th in the 1300 block on up to the end of 7th? That whole block was without electricity until I called this in around 1 a.m. in the morning. Did the service truck quit at 10 o’clock?
North Korea is just like a schoolyard bully. They’ll keep doing what they’re doing until they get punched right in the nose.
