I like ordering merchandise on the internet. It takes several days to receive your order, so it’s difficult to remember what you bought. It’s like opening a present that you really want.
Please have DCSS spokesman J.D. Sumner explain to me why ACT results in Dougherty school systems drop because more students are taking college courses while still in high school.
I don’t know whose bright idea it was to put signs with names of the streets up so high. If you try to find one at night, they’re too high for your lights to pick up the sign. You have to drive right up to the post and put your brights on. You can’t do that. You’ll cause an accident.
“Passage of the Equal Rights Amendment will mean women in the draft and same-sex marriage,” Phyllis Schlafly, 1972. Boy, did she nail that one.
Every day, President Tump says something or does something that will get him re-elected. He’s got my vote.
The only reason the NFL coaches support their players protesting is they don’t want to lose their players, therefore a losing team, therefore coaches lose their jobs. Selfishness and greed are alive and well.
I am exercising my right not to watch the NFL games where players, making an average of $2 million per year, disrespect our flag, our country and those who have fought and died for their freedom.
Week 3 of the NFL season and I haven’t watched one game yet. Guess you can say I am taking a knee from watching these overpaid, unpatriotic losers.
To believe that patriotism will not flourish if patriotic ceremonies are voluntary and spontaneous, instead of a compulsory routine, is to make an unflattering estimate of the appeal of our institutions to free minds.
Trump didn’t create division. He rightly called out the sports people who showed disrespect for the flag and anthem, and all the people who were maimed for life or killed protecting them. They should have been fired on the spot.
My wife would like to know where she could send a thank-you note to Colin Kaepernick. Thanks to him and his buddies, I no longer watch NFL games. I now have much more time for household jobs. Thanks a lot.
I never called you a name, squawker. I said “stupidity” from the Left. But since you took it as a personal insult, apparently I nailed you.
Trump was a coward when it came time for him to serve our country in the Vietnam War. He should never question anyone else’s patriotism.
Now Hillary Clinton is blaming white women for her losing the election. Who’s next? Her grandchildren?
In sports, you apparently can say and do anything you want to. The owners are afraid.
What the blankery-blank-blank are these athletes protesting by kneeling during the national anthem?
These powder-puff football players should be over there serving our country. Then they’d have something to squawk about. Let them go see what life’s about.
A real man would stand up for his country.
If you love the United States, you will boycott the NFL. Don’t attend the games, don’t watch them on TV.
