With the taxpayers funding $623,000 for a restaurant downtown, shouldn’t the commissioners consider that money for street repairs, or maybe hiring more policemen?

So, Michelle O. thinks conservative women can’t vote without men telling us how to vote? What liberal man told her to say that? Huh?

Instead of “Downtown Restaurant gets funding OK,” the article’s headline should have read: “City commissioners set new record for stupid decisions.”

Michelle Obama said that any woman who voted for a male president couldn’t think for themselves. I guess that includes all the women who voted for her husband.

Life in today’s world has become so confusing. Now that we have those transgenders, are gentlemen supposed to put the toilet seat down when they leave the men’s room?

We, the American people, are feeling played by the two parties, which are really one party, when it’s all said and done.

B.J. Fletcher, the inspections department has never worked off of the “good ole boy” network. It is sad the inspections department wasn’t given any extra help when it was needed when the storms ravaged our area back in January, but they were expected to keep up with the extra thousands of permits issued and inspections that needed to be done.
