Georgia’s two Republican senators need to be statesmen and move forward to end Trump’s government shutdown rather than just being pawns of Mitch McConnell and Trump.

Squawker says true Christians bring people together: Well, that eliminates the Democrats as they are the ones that are dividing this country with their hate and incivility.

Please, Albany Commission, don’t make Tommie Postell mayor pro tem. He has been a good man for his ward, but it’s obvious to anybody who attends commission meetings that he doesn’t have the capacity to be in any kind of position of authority.

The squawker calling Trump a “working” president is a joke. He first goes to work at 11 a.m. and spends the majority of his “work” time watching TV. He does not like to read important briefings. And he leaves the White House to go play golf at every opportunity.

Donald Trump is the best thing to ever happen to America. Let him do his job.

“NO BORDERS, NO WALL, NO USA AT ALL.” This is what the Democratic party now stands for.

Very recently I spent a week in the acute care wing of the 3rd floor at Phoebe Putney Hospital undergoing numerous tests, procedures, etc. Words cannot begin to convey the appreciation that I feel for the outstanding care that I received while there. Every member of the medical (as well as non-medical) staff was extremely kind and attentive.

Albany has enough problems from massive littering to overwhelming crime. Please, please don’t add to our problems by electing a convicted felon as our mayor. Not only will we become a laughingstock, we will give up all hope of corporate America ever considering Albany as a business location.

DCSS: It would be great for a change if you’d think about your semi-monthly employees. All monthly employees are getting paid Jan. 25th because “stretching payroll for six weeks and beyond the holidays can be taxing” on them. Well, semi-monthly employees got paid at the same time monthly employees got paid last month. Once again you have shown no support for the little guy.

Looking at that list of candidates you all said might be mayor, I’d vote for Bo Henry 25 times before I’d vote for any of the rest of them. Bo, you’ve got my vote.

It is evident that Donald Trump has never been in a Publix, Kroger, Giant Eagle, etc.

Hmmm. Wonder what would happen if the airline pilot’s and flight attendants union, plus the air traffic controllers, go on strike two days before the Super Bowl.

Democrat’s Schumer and Pelosi have been in Congressional office since the ’80s. They blame the president for all that is wrong, but he has only been in office for two years. Think about who is really trying to provide security for all American citizens.

Walking into the Albany Mall from the parking lot, an informal survey of license plates showed 20 of 30 were from outside Dougherty County.
