Albany State’s Gabriel Ballinas earns SIAC Special Teams Player of the Week honor

Albany State senior Gabriel Ballinas was named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week for football on Monday.

The Guadalupe, Mexico native was perfect on field goals in last week’s ASU win, converting from 37, 40 and 23 yards. He also averaged 35.5 yards on four punts.
