COLLEGE HOOPS ROUNDUP: Georgia Tech’s top men’s hoops recruit finally joins team; Albany Tech men lose sixth straight Wednesday

ATLANTA — Solomon Poole, a highly-rated guard from Jacksonville, Fla., who signed a letter-of-intent with Georgia Tech in November, has enrolled at the Institute and will begin practicing with the basketball team Saturday, head coach Brian Gregory announced.

The 6-1 Poole, younger brother of Tech sophomore Stacey Poole, Jr., graduated this fall from North Florida Educational Institute and has been admitted into Tech. His eligibility to play for the Yellow Jackets is currently under review by NCAA Eligibility Center.
