Rams pitcher strikes out eight in four-inning win over Dougherty

Worth County pitcher Caroline Newton threw a four-inning perfect game Thursday as the Rams beat Dougherty 12-0.
Newton struck out eight in the victory. Offensively, she went 3-for-3 with a double, two triples and three runs scored.
Brinsley Graddy and Taylor White each added three RBI.
Worth County (7-0, fifth in the Score Atlanta Class 3A rankings) is at Crisp County on Thursday.
