SQUAWKBOX: APRIL 18, 2026

Dougherty taxpayers deserve to know why the jail repairs mysteriously still haven’t been placed on the agenda. Albany taxpayers deserve to know why APD hasn’t cracked down on street racing and illegal cars and motorcycles as well as whether officers are actually some of the repeat offenders. The truth always comes out eventually, and all creeps who think that laws don’t apply to them will be in for a rude awakening.
Heard can keep putting off what he is required by law to do, but he’d best think twice before he tries to take the money needed for repairs at the jail and spread it out among his friends … and, of course, himself and his “first lady.” He’s worked in the shadows so long with his incompetent three that he’s convinced now that he can do whatever he wants. Someone needs to call the governor’s office.
The only thing Trump and Jesus have in common is they both have met a lot of prostitutes.
Four of the squawks in the 4/14 Herald edition are crazy. One wants Trump to serve at least one more term. Another accuses Democrats of not having any real leaders. A third says Dems are “following a real loser.” And the last admits to buying our Grifter-in-Chief’s merch and would do it again. Is it any wonder why our nation is as messed up as it is?
Yeah, squawker, you keep worshiping the man who has portrayed himself as Jesus. You and he can enjoy eternity together in hell.
Squawker, it’s very simple: That Warfare System Operator colonel was in that F15 because he loves his country and loves how he makes a living. For this type occasion, we want to send our very best to deliver the message.
For all you squawkers — and other deluded miscreants — who are trying to lay the blame for Trump’s idiocy on Biden, are you not aware that your man is in charge of this stuff?
Mr. Mauldin: A bit of advice: Quit taking these liars on the Dougherty Commission at their word. You can’t believe a thing Heard, Gaines, Edwards or Johnson says.
Let’s all just quit tipping and force restaurant owners to pay a living wage to their employees.
Ms. Crockett’s article in Saturday’s Herald had an editor’s note informing readers that it was an effort to help voters make decisions on people running for local office. But the story says nothing about Inyang’s education. He says he was raised in east Albany. The article says 17% of high school grads in the Dougherty School System are proficient in reading. Was Inyang in the 17% or the 83% that cannot read? Also, being from the eastside, he wouldn’t happen to be a church member at Preacher Lorenzo’s church, would he?
Trump shared an AI image of himself as a Jesus-like figure on his Truth Social platform. I wonder how many of his Christian supporters will say he’s gone too far. I’m guessing very few. This man knows his base will support him no matter how many outrageous things he says and does. That Man Without a Family
