How in the world can Bo Dorough and others in the city government even consider allowing Tripp Morgan to get his greedy hands back on the downtown brewery? Last I read, he owes the city more than $2 million right now. How much deeper will these officials allow him to dig into our pockets?

If there was a need for a $100 million convention center in Dougherty County, a major hotel chain would have already built it.

We are years in and millions spent on these plastic solar-powered cameras, and these same deadbeats still have no hesitation zooming loudly all over Albany at any hour day or night … 7 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 a.m. They don’t fear law enforcement because there is no law enforcement. Our children and the elderly simply don’t deserve to be scared daily by drag racing idiot thugs who rip off their muffler just to get attention. Enough is enough.

I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one in the Squawkbox. I am a parent. My babies (who are now grown men) didn’t act out as much when they had sufficient sleep. Perhaps 79-year-old Trump wouldn’t fall asleep during his boring meetings or go on early-morning, social media rants if he actually got more sleep.

Squawker, when we complain about the blatantly illegal “virtual civil rights project” and the $195,000 in taxpayer money wasted, you defend the person who sold this garbage to the four complicit members of the County Commission. Your reason? He’s black. We don’t care about his skin color, we care about tax dollars wasted when there are so many needs in our community. If you put away your biases, you’d be complaining too.

DOCO Facilities has one of the rudest office staffs you will talk to. Not only is she late every day, but she also refuses to do her job. Maybe administration needs to assign someone to investigate what is going on.

The Braves did little during the off-season, but at least they did the right thing and gave Sale a contract extension. He ranks up there with Smoltz, Glavine and Maddox among their best ever.

To whom it may concern: As I have seen several stories you have done on the celebration of someone’s life or death and you comment on a balloon release, you can’t see or don’t care about the destruction that balloon releases have on the Earth. I beg you to please inform yourselves and do a story on the complete sadness of the situation.

1 read B.J.’s article a couple of times. The points she makes are consistent with propaganda news releases from the Trump administration. She, like other Trump toadies, wants you to not believe your lying eyes and constantly deflects. B.J., the truth does not divide. Can the deflections; they aren’t working.
