Kudos to the governor’s office for helping Camilla. Now we need some help in Albany with endless negligence in our leadership. It seems like half of our city could be on fire or underwater, and our commissioners would be arguing about which pastor to rename a building for, how much of a raise they deserve, or how much to spend on a church-run shoddy-built apartment complex no one asked for.

It’s going to be so funny when the “true president” finally goes down and pays for all his past sins and crimes. What’s even more funny is his own supporters are the ones doing it.

Would somebody please tell holders of handicap parking permits that the parking permit does not give them the right to drive all day, every day in the passing lane of multi-lane roads?

Just how light does a trigger pull have to be for a 3-year-old to be able to pull it and fire a gun?

The Dougherty coroner said of the person who was hit and killed on Gillionville this week by a hit-and-run driver that the driver may not have stopped because they may have thought they hit a deer. Never have I heard anything more ridiculous. Many of us have hit a deer, and believe me, you know what you hit when you hit a deer. Sounds like he is trying to cover up something.  

Good point about the confederate flag being considered as symbol of protest by some. They also say that the Nazi flag is a symbol of protest. And guess what, by some of the same people.

Many experts predict that if our power grid were to go down in the U.S., by the end of the first month half of all Americans would die. Can you live 30 days without power, water or food being available to you?

I was watching a special about the children born out of wedlock or very poor in Italy as late as the 1970s being taken from their mothers and sold as orphans to American couples. This was all done by the Catholic Church, for about $450 per child. Can anything be more evil?

The people in Camilla protesting the removal of their mayor have racist motivations. Shameful, just as his actions were.

Thank you, Dr. Price Corr, for clearing up the vein health issue. I’d heard so many rumors and overreactions I thought the president’s life was in danger. This Facebook generation: Never let the truth get in the way of a good rumor.

I hope the new Creekside Market on Dawson Road will provide paper towels and clean water at the gas pumps to wash our windshields. The new Creekside store on Gillionville does not provide those services, so I do not buy gas or anything there. We must show these owners what we expect if we spend our money with them.   

Our low-intelligence city commissioners chose to use Plant Vogtle money to build more “affordable housing.” It is not enough that Albany housing is already the cheapest of all cities in the area and there are hundreds of empty homes and apartments everywhere. How else would their contractor buddies get paid? God forbid they use the money to attract new jobs or for training programs.
