Dear Dr Pretora Fields: According to The Albany Herald, debt service, not COVID, led to your closure. Commissoner Brown says it wasn’t bankrupt. Did the good doctor declare bankruptcy, or did the entity known as Pretoria Fields declare bankruptcy? Servicing debt requires paying due bills, it’s that simple. Every business in Albany and Dougherty County went through COVID, and not all closed.

Once again, Bob Langstaff has thumbed his nose and extended a finger to the citizens of Albany with another no-show at Thursday’s candidates forum. This was expected, as he has the same attitude about attending commission meetings. Citizens send him this message: We refuse to be your side chick.

Can someone explain to me how two truckers’ tractor and trailer are allowed to park on Hill Road, and I cannot park on my property on a dead-end road?

Col. Sanders spent his life perfecting fried chicken. It took the KFC on Dawson Road only a day to destroy it. Those people do not know how to fry chicken. At times it is greasy, and other times it is absolutely burned. Busy Facebook and texting, I suppose.

Old age might be slowing Carlton some, but it sure hasn’t affected his ability to stir the pot.

Fletcher, it doesn’t seem to matter to you how well the True President is running this country, you can’t help but find fault with him for any little thing that he does. You, like a lot of other people in this community, are just going to have to accept the fact that this president is serving the people who elected him, and we all find him flawless in his efforts to make this country great again.

I’m a little confused, Squawker, about what left-wing psycho you are referencing. The only one I know about was a card-carrying, hate-filled, right-wing nut with Trump signs in his yard.

Love, love, love “Fire on the Mountain” and all those other songs you mentioned. Looks like the younger generation had better taste in music than the older one.

At first I laughed at the absurdity of these Trump-blinded simpletons who blamed the calamity in today’s America on Democrats, when it’s Republicans who are in charge of the three branches of government. We’ve even got a corrupt Supreme Court whose justices give Trump anything he wants, the Constitution be damned. Now, I realize that it’s sad, not funny at all. Open your eyes, you blind sheep.

Late night shooting/killing in downtown Albany involving thugs in cars.  Within spitting distance of APD HQ.  Was this a brazen act, or no fear of being nicked?

After years of pro-terrorist propaganda in college courses, it should come as no surprise that some of America’s young people feel no guilt about committing political violence.

Republicans, stop the lying. Statistics clearly show that the political violence that we are experiencing now and the majority of mass shootings are from right-wing extremists. Stop forwarding the lies and start researching and reading for yourself.
