Is the APD waiting for a fatality before it enforces driving laws with 12-year-olds driving golf carts all around in the streets in the Doublegate area? The parents have lost control.

Don’t look now, but Republicans are telling us what books we can read, what meds we can take, what history we can learn, what news we can listen to, what words we can say, who we can love, what religion to practice, and more. So tell me again about the Democratic plan to steal our freedoms.

The more I read the Squawkbox, the more I understand Carlton’s quirks. Poor guy has to read them all and publish the “best.”

After reading Mr. Knighton’s letter, you can understand why there are so many private schools in south Georgia.

Raphael Warnock trying to grill and school RFK Jr. on science is about as delusional as Charlie Brown trying to teach Max Fried or Chris Sale how to throw a no hitter. Warnock needs to crawl back under his rock.

Albany and Dougherty Commissioners can’t get anything right. They say they want to address vice marts, but they permit more all the time like the brand new one on Dawson owned by out-of-towners. They say they want to clean up slums, but then they build hundreds more project apartments that turn into slums on Day 1. Why do our commissioners want to profit off of poor people?

I totally agree with the Squawker who said that the majority of people who voted for Trump were voting against the ridiculous policies of Biden and the Democrats.

If Trump did buy The Albany Herald, and I don’t think even he’s that stupid, I’d never open another copy in my life.

Use tax credits to develop downtown buildings that have nothing but “forced” future use. Purpose the buildings for expanded ASU dorms/faculty housing; extend class/conference rooms; use ground level as bookstore/eateries/entertainment for students and public, rent space to court system/Albany Tech. Put ASU’s 2,500 residential student social hub, art, history and medical interns into nice safe downtown.

The Idiots down in Florida are doing away with vaccine mandates for kids. Will the Idiots in our Legislature do the same?

I was just minding my own business and all of a sudden 1968 was 57 years ago and most of my friends have passed.

I haven’t watched local news or anything else local on TV in almost two years, and I discovered early on that I haven’t missed it a bit.
