Updates were given on various Phoebe Putney Health System projects at the meeting of the Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County, which also took action regarding a pending property sale, on Thursday.

Property located at 1912 Arlington Lane is to be purchased by Dr. Paul Payne of Southwest Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology to expand his practice. The Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County voted on Thursday to allow $100,000 from the sale of the property to go back to Phoebe Putney Health System for releasing the property from a 50-year lease.
