The squawker who said they would not pay money to see a football game because players kneel, what you need to be protesting is America is a country that kicked God out of it and that’s why all this evil is going on. Until America decides they need God, it’s going to get worse.

I have lost 30 pounds since I started boycotting the NFL. I eat less potato chips, hot dogs and hamburgers and drink a lot less beer.

Squawker, who said anything about the Texas churchgoers being killed by a van or truck? Pay Attention! Talk about being weak-minded.

They need to pass that tax thing. Instead, they sit there and bellyache should we do this or should we do that? Pass the thing and let’s see if it’ll work.

I agree with you about the litter problem. When I see litter on the roads the first thing I think of are the uneducated folks. I would hate to see how these folks live that just throws trash out of their vehicles.

I think an arrow can kill without you being up close and personal. It is small, deadly and virtually silent. So, no, guns are not the only “cowardly” way to kill people. And remember, guns are used more often to stop criminals and protect yourself and your property.

Answer to the 2nd Amendment comment: When our Founding Fathers were putting together the 1st Amendment regarding freedom of speech, they had no idea how TV, radio and social media would have an impact on our society.

Mayor Hubbard says: “In 60 days, the police chief will propose a strategic plan for the mayor and board of commissioners.” Didn’t they say this 2 months ago? What happened to the original plan?

People claim Trump is dividing this country. News Flash! This country has been divided for a long time. Obama divided it more, but with Trump, people are no longer being silent.

I had never gone to the Salvation Army before, but I took six bags to donate. I went to the dock. It said blow your horn for help. I did several times, but no one came. What bothered me is there were several boxes of clothes getting wet because it was raining. I didn’t leave my bags.
