CVB turns Welcome Center into a giant gingerbread house
Dwight Porter from the Albany Utility Board helps, from left, Teresa Smith and Katie Hughes of the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau decorate the downtown Albany Welcome Center to look like a gingerbread house during the Christmas holiday. According to CVB Executive Director Rashelle Beasley the building’s decor is in keeping with the city of Albany’s announcement that certain downtown streets would have certain holiday themes. The Front Street theme is Candy Land. Check out the decoration photo gallery at www.albanyherald.com. (Staff Photo: Brad McEwen)
