ALBANY, Ga. — The sports utility vehicle in a photo released by the Albany Police Department Investigations Bureau could be connected to an August 20 cargo-trailer theft.

The photo shows the SUV driving through the U.S. Business Products parking lot at 2811 Palmyra Road. Police believe the SUV had something to do with the theft of a $2,700 white Leonard enclosed cargo trailer with the plate number TLIGH33.

According to the police report, the last time the trailer was seen on the lot was at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 17. The theft was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20.

The trailer contained three diamond pendants, a chest of drawers, two nightstands, suitcases packed with clothes, kitchen appliances and serving dishes.

Community assistance is sought in locating the SUV, another vehicle barely visible in a photo and the trailer.
