ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 32 calls on Tuesday and the early hours of Wednesday morning, police reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Forgery on the 200 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Child molestation on the 200 block of South Carroll Street;
— Entering autos on the 500 block of Longbow Drive, the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 2200 block of Friar Tuck Lane, the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 200 block of Lynn Lane and the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue, the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue, the 600 block of Canoe Avenue and the 200 block of Hall Street;
— Theft by taking a motor vehicle on the 2600 block of Cardinal Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 600 block of 12th Avenue, the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive, the 1700 block of Gillonville Road, the 1200 block of Nancy Drive and the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Simple battery on the 1400 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Interfering with city officials on the 1400 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 200 block of Thornton Drive;
— Terrorist threats or acts on the 200 block of Edison Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 700 block of Warrior Court;
— Burglary in the first degree on the 900 block of Mercedes Avenue;
— Suspended or revoked driver’s license on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Armed robbery on the 200 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 800 block of South Madison Street.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 14 calls on Tuesday and during the early Wednesday morning hours, according to reports. Incidents included:
— Miscellaneous property damage on the 900 block of Barbragale Avenue;
— Suspicious persons on the 3100 block of Sylvester Road, the 400 block of Philema Road and the 3100 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Family violence on the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Animals at large on the 500 block of Gillionville Road and the 4900 block of Hill Road;
— Theft by taking on the 3300 block of Springs Flats Road;
— Burglar alarms on the 700 block of River Chase Lane and the 100 block of Royal Palms Court;
— Personal welfare check on the 5600 block of Periwinkle Way;
— Overdose on the 5400 block of Paulk Drive;
— Harassing phone calls on the 4800 block of Pinto Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Tuesday, according to reports. Incidents included:
— Search for a person in water on corner of South Jefferson Street and West Gordon Avenue;
— Gas leak on the 700 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Fire inside a structure on the 3900 block of Gravel Hill Road;
— Medical assistance on the 1700 block of Fir Lane;
— Alarm system activations on the 2100 block of Broad Avenue, the 400 block of Pine Avenue, the 700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and the 400 block of Louis Avenue;
— Power lines down on the 2600 block of Ridgewood Lane, the 200 block of North Central Street and the 1300 block of Seventh Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Services responded to at least 48 calls on Tuesday which included five reports of abdominal pains, one assault, one back pain report, six breathing problems, four reports of chest pain, two convulsion or seizure reports, one diabetic problem, one eye problem, two fall victims, one hemorrhage/laceration incident, one overdose, three psychiatric problems, 16 incidents involving sick persons, two traffic accidents, one unconscious/fainting incident and one man down for an unknown reason.
