ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 1800 block of Seay Court, the 2000 block of West Lakeridge Drive and the 3100 block of Cane Mill Drive;
— Burglaries on the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 600 block of Aztec Lane, the 3100 block of Wax Myrtle Court and the 3200 block of Westgate Drive;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 500 block of Vick Street;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Thefts by taking on the 900 block of Dorsett Avenue and the 100 block of Talafax Road;
— Entering auto on the 200 block of Pinson Road;
— Missing person on the 100 block of Kalmon Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of East Road and the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Deceased person on the 500 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Forgery on the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least six calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Suspicious auto on the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Suspicious persons on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 4600 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Assist motorist on the 1700 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Auto accidents on the 2700 block of North Jefferson Street and the 1500 block of Power Lane.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least eight calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Natural gas leak on the 200 block of South Westover Boulevard;
— Building fires on the 1500 block of Dawson Road and the 600 block of Park Avenue;
— EMS assist on the 500 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Unauthorized burnings on the 400 block of Williams Street and the 1400 block of Blaylock Street;
— Cooking fire on the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Smoke scare on the 600 block of Johnny Williams Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 73 calls on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports indicate. Incidents included four chest pain calls, five abdominal pain calls, eight respiratory issue calls, four fainting calls, one diabetic issue call, one labor call, two seizure calls, three mental health calls, three cardiac arrest calls and 24 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included two auto accident victims, seven falls, three lacerations, one assault and one traumatic injury. Other types of calls included one standby for AFD, one local transport and two medical alert activations.
