ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Burglaries on the 800 block of Cedar Avenue and the 700 block of Colquitt Circle;
— Missing person on the 300 block of Sixth Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Gaines Avenue, the 200 block of Franklin Drive, the 2300 block of Beachview Drive and the 300 block of South Mock Road;
— Assaults on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue and the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Thefts by taking on the 2000 block of Hubert Avenue, the 300 block of North Davis Street and the 1100 block of Clark Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Aggravated sodomy on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;
— Battery on the 2000 block of North Riverview Circle;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Cone Street;
— Theft by deception on the 2400 block of Sylvester Highway.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Recovered property on the 3600 block of Council Road;
— Auto accidents on the 3700 block of Moultrie Road, the 1200 block of Cordele Road and the intersection of the Liberty Expressway and Moultrie Road;
— Miscellaneous call on the 1500 block of Lily Pond Road;
— Suspicious person on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious auto on the 6200 block of Newton Road;
— Animal call on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Thefts by taking on the 2700 block of Upland Court and the 3400 block of Gillionville Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 400 block of Lumpkin Street.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least six calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Building fire on the 1200 block of Second Avenue;
— Authorized controlled burning on the 2200 block of Lionel Lane;
— Passenger vehicle fire at the intersection of Eighth Avenue and Palmyra Road;
— Auto accidents on the 2300 block of Dawson Road and the 1300 block of Cordele Road;
— EMS assist on the 600 block of Society Avenue;
— Dumpster fire on the 1100 block of Newton Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 53 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included four chest pain calls, four respiratory issue calls, two abdominal pain calls, one lift assist call, one back pain call, one headache call, two fainting calls, one stroke call, one diabetic issue call, one labor call, two seizure calls, three mental health calls, one cardiac arrest call, two unknown problem calls and 19 general sickness calls. Trauma calls included two auto accidents, two falls and one traumatic injury. Other types of calls included one standby for AFD and two medical alert activations.
