ALBANY — No injuries were reported in a house fire that Albany firefighters quickly extinguished on Second Avenue Wednesday morning.
Five Albany Fire Department trucks and an EMS unit responded around 8:30 a.m. at 1220 Second Ave.
The fire, reported to have started in the attic, was brought under control within 15 minutes.
“We know it started in the attic, and they think it was an electrical fire,” Tina Barlow, who resides at the address, said. “But all I know is I got a call at work this morning telling me the house was on fire.”
