“Georgia has seen a lot of data center development in recent years. Georgia hosts the their-highest (number) of data centers and operates the most square footage.”
“We have built our business on being the best in customer service, being kind and giving back. I say the second thing you bought was a pair of shoes. The first thing is friendship. We really work harder than anybody to just go above and beyond.”
“We’re going to have one of the instructors teaching autistic kids this year. That’s going to be one of the focuses this year. We had it last year, but not many participated. We’re pushing it a lot harder this year.”
“What this does to the bees, it doesn’t kill them straight out. (It has) brain effects. They have problems finding their way back to the hive. It is important these pollinators find their way back home.”
“Land is a farmer’s equity. It’s gotten bad enough that every farmer I know has sold land. We’re losing our equity. Some people are even getting out of it. Corporations are going to own the land or we’re going to turn into sharecroppers if something doesn’t change quickly. It’s that bad."
“There was that recommendation. Bring that forward. You have a chance to vote it down or you have the chance to vote it up. Let’s just do it. We need to do (that) so we can make a decision. At the end of the day, we’ve got to do something about the jail. We’re adults. I don’t like this tension.”
“The resource center will bring together all the resources and contacts they need. I tell folks, as agriculture goes, so goes our state, so goes our nation, so goes our communities. The opportunity to put this center in this part of the state was something I think was an easy decision to make.”

“To put this together in a month and a half and having to get the program you want is difficult. It’s a great proposal, but based on the time frame it doesn’t give us enough time and does not give other community partners time.”
