PREP BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Sherwood boys win to improve to 2-1 on the season

MACON — Sherwood Christian improved to 2-0 on the season with a 68-43 victory over Central Georgia in the Central Fellowship Tournament Friday night.
The Eagles (2-1) will play Twiggs Academy this morning at 11 a.m. A victory would send them into the tournament finals later this afternoon at 5:30 p.m.
Seth King led the way with 17 points, while Chaz Griffin added 12 and Juwan Henderson tossed in eight.
AMERICUS-SUMTER 57, COOK 47: Americus-Sumter remained undefeated with an overtime victory over Cook. The Panthers improved to 3-0 overall, 2-0 in Region 1-AAAA play. Dwight Harris led way with 29 points for the Panthers. Juwan High added eight and Eric Davis chipped in seven.
RANDOLPH-CLAY BOYS 85, EUFAULA 64: Keyshawn Baker led Randolph-Clay with 19 points, while Herald Super 6er Gary McCrae chipped in 13 to help the Red Devils improve to 3-0 on the season with a big victory over Eufaula. Cody Brown added 12 for Randolph-Clay.
TERRELL COUNTY 53, GRACE CHRISTIAN 50: The Eagles were missing some of their top players who were playing in an all-star football game. However, Terrell (4-1) managed to top Grace Christian behind 28 points from Connor Walsh.
Jack McCrae led Grace with 16 points.
TERRELL COUNTY GIRLS 51, GRACE CHRISTIAN 43: Terrell Academy improved to 5-1 on the season with a victory over Grace Christian. The Lady Eagles were led again by Marilauren Farr with 23 points, while Olivia Rogers added 11.
BAINBRIDGE GIRLS 69, SEMINOLE COUNTY 44: Bainbridge improved to 2-0 on the season with a big victory over rival Seminole County. Patra Parris led the Lady Bearcats with 18 points, Alex Carter added 13, Tameria Levens tossed in 11 and Nadia Mitchell finished with nine.
Seminole County was led by Dejah Martin who finished with 11.
RANDOLPH-CLAY GIRLS 45, EUFAULA 43: Herald Super 6er Kobi Thornton led the way with 18 points, while Alecia Mathis added 11 to help the Lady Red Devils improve to 3-0.
