Maybe our coroner has never fired a .45 aliber handgun, but anyone that has knows if anyone were to shoot themselves in the head with a .45, that person would not still be holding on to that gun after the fact. Recoil is tremendous. Being dead, one does not hold on to a .45 pistol during recoil. and the pistol was placed in the wrong hand: the guy was left handed; the pistol in his right hand.  How could our coroner not realize that when investigating Jake Embert's death? "Dateline" made Albany look ridiculously stupid and ignorant. Thank God for Lee Wilson.

Dateline exposed the incompetence of the entire Dougherty County Judicial System. From the Dougherty County police, the Dougherty County coroner to the Dougherty County District Attorney. The combination of these three agencies almost allowed a cold blooded murderer to walk free. I am totally embarrassed that the whole country was able to see our incompetent system.
