Please note Vermont is the safest state in the nation. They have had, and still have, the right to carry concealed without a permit. I guess it must be the people in other states that are untrustworthy, although Vermont trusts you while you visit.

Sylvester squawker, I’m not the far right. I just love my country and seeing the Democratic trying to take down Trump no matter what happens to this great country, I get concerned. My family and I were Democratic when they were the best party years ago. Sorry, I just hear and see the hate and lies coming from them now. Thank you for your service!

With twice the population of Albany, Columbus is a fast-growing city and is now the second largest city in Georgia. Albany has been steadily losing population because its leaders spend millions of dollars in buying empty buildings while ignoring road and infrastructure improvements. Albany and Columbus, no comparison!

Driving with your fog lights on costs money and you don’t look cool. The fog lights run off the battery, which makes the alternator put out more to keep your battery charged, which lowers your gas mileage. Fog lights are for foggy conditions and not to blind oncoming traffic in clear weather.

Whose bright idea was it to give you a big, useless blast of air from above when you walk through the door at local stores? All it does is make me have to rearrange my wig.

Braves, please, no more Bartolo Colon. There has to be some young pitcher in the minors than can give up less than eight runs a game.

Trump’s disruptive tweets undermine his administration. No one will want to work for him if he does not have their back. If he continues not to focus on health care and taxes, he and the Republicans are history.

The only thing Trump is guilty of is beating Hillary. People need to get over it. She lost.

To the squawker who wonders why Albany doesn’t have Vince Gill or country music concerts, the answer is demographics and Albany’s reputation as an unsafe city.

What does Tifton have over Albany as far as shows go? Profit margin and audience quality. Politically correct or not, that is where the two separate.

Sharon Subadan does not want to donate from the increased light bill money to help indigent people, but she wants customers to volunteer and donate more money. What is wrong with that woman?

I think I’ve voted for B.J. the last time. She’s in favor of raising our utility rates. The rates are so high now the people on welfare can’t afford increased rates. They’re sky high.

I rode around some of the old neighborhoods I grew up in, it’s pitiful. The people don’t keep their properties up. It’s all going to heck, just like Chicago, Ill., and some of these other big cities. People don’t care, don’t have no pride, don’t keep their yards or shrubberies cut.

You’re going to a protest to protest somebody else’s protest, but you’re taking hammers, chains and you got your face covered. You’re going there to hurt somebody. It’s called anarchy.
