As a veteran, I am disgusted at the military judge’s decision for Pvt. Bergdahl. Mr. Disney received a dishonorable discharge also. Do you think it hurt him? He should have been given jail time. There were deaths because of Bergdahl.

Squawker, do you know how you sound by saying Hillary and Obama welcomed terrorists to our country? That says a lot about you. What about the terrorists that are already here?

About Bergdahl, the Marine Corps knows how to prosecute deserters. After Vietnam, I took a 386-day vacation in ‘73. I came back, served six-eight months in Leavenworth and was awarded a VCD discharge, suspended one year. I served my time, came back and I got an honorable discharge. I did not desert in a war zone. It was a big injustice, what he got.

Let’s vote for time staying the same all year long. I vote for Daylight Saving Time all year.

President Trump launched a childish tirade when the sentence for Sgt. Bergdahl was announced, but Trump’s immature and stupid outbursts before the trial caused the judge to consider Trump’s remarks in the sentencing. Trump caused the reduced sentence.

I am not in law enforcement, but I know the Worth County Sheriff’s Office needs some changes.

I am not a fan of Attorney General Sessions, but Saturday Night Live’s depictions of him are cruel.

People complain about pedestrians and bicyclists not being safe from motor vehicles. Well, they need to understand that they also have to walk and ride in a safe manner. Bicyclists who dart in and out of traffic on a busy street are just being stupid and careless.

Squawker, I will speak even more slowly, so listen carefully: Any object can be used to kill people, including vehicles and trucks. Guns don’t kill people; bad people kill people and they will find a way to kill. Quit blaming guns. Now do you understand?
