I agree the speed bumps on Meadowlark are a little ridiculous. What overkill.

Big Donald criticized the way Obama handled the war. Now, Big Donald is expanding it. There is a difference between campaigning and governing.

I love it when the media picks a fight with Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She punches them in the nose before they can even blink their eyes.

Mac Gordon’s neighbors and friends — or lack thereof — should get him a ticket to send him back to Mississippi to run the state because he’s an intellectual and knows everything about everything. I’d love to see him go.

I went to the Alabama/FSU game and I went out to eat before the game and looked over at the table next to me and it was Jameis Winston. We were at Joe’s Crab Shack.

You should publish the latest derogatory cartoons directed at Texas and Southerners so people can know who the real haters are.

For the groups that want to shut down Fort Bragg, Fort Benning and Fort Hood because they once were Confederate outposts: What do you think would happen if they were to shut down? All the communities around them would dry up and we would not have qualified people to defend the United States.

After reading Steve and Cokie Roberts’ article in Saturday’s paper, I see they’re on the weed again.

In 25 words or less, can anybody tell me one positive thing Al Sharpton has ever done for the United States?

Michigan 33, Florida 17. Go Gators!

The people suffering in Texas need a lot more from our government that photo ops for President Trump and V.P. Pence.

To the person in question of Meadowlark Speed tables: Reason why there are none on the 500 nor 600 block is because the residents living on those blocks have to get a petition up to have them installed.

You loony Trump haters are really spoiling this forum. In a little over three years, you can vote again. Judging by the quality of your last two candidates and current crop of wannabes, you’re probably going to be disappointed again.

I love to take my wife to the North Georgia mountains. She can sit, relax and do nothing — just like being at home, but in a quieter situation.

Southerners and Confederates are not the haters. The haters are the Left.

In the early 1900s, within a 15-year span, three hurricanes hit Texas near the same area Harvey did. No word as to whether Al Gore’s grandfather told what caused it.

Eugene Robinson is not a racist or a hater. If anyone is, it’s you.

There was a lot of research done by Jon Gosa and others about the history of the Confederate Memorial on Philema Road. Thank you for telling the story.

Sen. John McCain says Trump’s not a politician. Guess what. That’s why he got elected.

OK, people, after seeing the Cobb County policeman tell the white motorist she had nothing to fear because they only kill black people, do you see why we fear them?

Isn’t it sad the rest of the country can’t come together like Texas has? They’re an example for the rest of the world.
