Glory Seay leads Albany State’s SIAC baseball, softball preseason honors

Albany State junior Glory Seay was named to the 2022 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s Softball Preseason Team on Tuesday.

Seay was one of 11 players selected to the first team. The outfielder hit .319 with four home runs, 12 doubles and 25 RBIs as a freshman in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic affected the past two SIAC softball seasons.

Albany State teammate Amaya Terry, also an outfielder, made the second team.

Ross earns SIAC honor

Albany State junior Lachlan Ross made the 2022 SIAC’s Baseball Preseason Team on Tuesday.

The second baseman is from Sydney, Australia.
