Georgia’s conceal and carry (law) in a degraded society results in many mis-developed minds, emotions, education, culture and conscience to carry and use guns everywhere, at any trivial provocation, now over chicken fingers. How safe does that make you feel?

Nice one on the family feeding their neighbors, Fletcher. It’s about time some good people got a little attention in this community.

To the man without a family: Stop worrying about things you have no clue on. Instead fix your own government in Albany. No, you just keep voting in the trash.

It does no good to report illegal dumping when nobody follows up. The retired fire captain on Ashford got a new driveway. His contractors had some concrete left over, so they drove around the corner on Old Dominion and dumped the stuff on top of a city leaf/limb trash pickup spot that several homes use. And the trash pick-up point is on the corner of the lot where a city commissioner lives. 

Virginia elected an attorney general, Jay Jones, who wanted to put two bullets in the head of a Virginia house speaker and fantasized about killing his two children. Virginia voters have lost their minds. 

Republicans talked about Biden’s mental capacity at the end of his presidency. Trump’s only in the first year of his, and he makes comments that would embarrass Biden or any other semi-sane person. The man has become nothing but a babbling idiot with an outsized — and undeserved — ego. 

No, squawker, the hall of shame that Trump is building is not with “public” funds. It is not small MAGA nut donors that are giving to the king’s folly. It’s corporate money from those that have government contracts worth millions of dollars. This has all the appearance and smell of a  kickback. Get your Trump lie straight.

It’s about time we got Trump fitted for a straight-jacket.

Squawker, you sound like so many people who voted for Jenkins: You know nothing about her except the color of her skin, so you feel secure that she’s going to be an asset … like Jalen Johnson and Lorenzo Heard and Tommy Postell and Arthur Williams … The list goes on.

Dozy Don is like the dawg that caught the car. He has no long-term plan for any policy.

When are some of these business owners who’ve been at it for decades going to fix up their run-down buildings? Y’all are a big part of the reason people are leaving here and shopping elsewhere.

Yeah, I’d like a serving of chicken nuggets to go with a side order of .38 shells. Wow! Only in Albany.

To the gutless eight who caved in and allowed Republican/Trump lies to stand, I know you’re leaving the government and don’t care, but I hope at some time in the near future you lose your insurance and look for help from an uncaring government that’s in the process of trying to start an us-vs.-them rich-vs.-poor civil war. You’ll deserve any hardship you get.

What a wonderful story about the Albany family putting up their food pantry to help meet needs in their neighborhood. Our city, state and country would be a lot better if we had more people like these.

The True President has pardoned at least 77 folks in the “stop the steal movement,” including our lieutenant.governor. Could it be Constitutional since he used an autopen?

Trump wants to use the billions raised from his tariffs to buy Americans’ votes in the midterms. A fiscally responsible Republican would use every cent raised to pay down the debt.

I just found out my uncle voted Democratic this fall. This would have never happened if he were still alive.

Thanks to the True President, poor people and children will go hungry.

Cowardly Democrats proved true to their nature and caved on the government shutdown. Republicans are celebrating because now they get to push through measures that will double and triple our insurance costs. Dumb followers believed the lies about insurance for illegal immigrants … now we’ll all be paying high prices.

79-year-old Dozy Don has been confused about names and dates, and he’s mixed up facts. He even appears to drift off during Oval Office meetings. The lights are on, but nobody is home.

Are you sure you want to embrace as a columnist a reappearing politician linked to Biden’s EPA appropriation of $2B to the nonprofit “Power Forward,” which had no history, no bank funds, no business experience or accomplishments, grilled for incompetence on the Senate floor by John Kenedy?

May Ben and Jordan and their family be rewarded for showing the kind of love we all claim we honor, but we’re too lame to do ourselves.

I am not a Dick Cheney fan, but even he deserves the honor of a state funeral. Based on the Republican party’s current myopic views, his major downfall is he did not have a strong enough stomach, weak enough morals, and had a value system that prevented him from supporting a felon and insurrectionist to become the leader of this country.

Hey, Squawker, please tell me what it is Joe Biden is doing to destroy our country. Do you even know it’s almost 2026, and Biden hasn’t been doing anything for quite some time?

Evangelicals are marching with MAGA and the Lord. Bless the True President.

A reminder to the man without a family and the rest of you Trump haters: The government never fed you or your kids. The generosity of hard-working taxpayers did.

America today is no different than Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible. People who call themselves men of faith and even “Christians” are following a man of sin who is on the verge of destroying the country. Perhaps God is preparing to use the United States to teach those who falsely call His name a lesson.
