I’m still here, and I’m still advocating for a senior school tax exemption. There is a song we sing in church, and one part of the lyrics is, “If I’m not dead He’s not done”. There is a new strategic action on the way, and I’m going to need assistance. Watch for more information coming soon. Sherry Stith, a.k.a “Bulldog.”

Our legislature is considering doing away with our income tax, predominantly paid by the upper-middle and upper class and substantially increasing the sales tax, predominantly paid by the rest of us, unless we have an exemption, like farmers.
Ok right-wing, wack job: There is no far-left liberal dysfunction. Liberals believe in the U.S. Constitution, defy all autocrats, believe in feeding the hungry and caring for the less fortunate among us. You guys are too busy sucking up to a dictator wannabe who hates America and wants to be king. What say you all pack up and move to an island. Antarctica is nice this time of year.
I would like someone to tell me how a $400,000 armored vehicle would have helped the Albany Police Department to deal with a man barricaded inside a house.
Fletcher, just give it up. Your pathetic cries for gun control will never happen. If we don’t have more guns, we can’t defend ourselves. Weenies like you will be the first to cry help when the fighting begins.
Mannheim Steamroller were amazing. Thank you, Six Strings Promotions, for moving the show to the Municipal Auditorium. The sound was much better than it would have been in the Civic Center, and there was a great seasonal atmosphere in the smaller venue.
People in All Benny are better educated when they read editorials by Ralph Nader.
The story about the hospice patient who was allowed to visit with her beloved pets one last time before she passed away really touched my heart. How wonderful that she had a loving family and health care providers who honored her wishes.
That Christmas party — and all the other events hosted by the recreation department — held for “seniors” is really an event held for a specific group of seniors. The same ones go every time, and when some “others” in the community try to buy tickets, they’re told that the tickets all have been sold. Typical Albany.
I’d lay down and die before I bowed down to that cowardly traitor
Mr. Art of No Deal is selling the Saudis F-35 fighter jets. These are the same people that supported, morally and financially, their countrymen who crashed planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, killing over 3,000 Americans. Chopping up a journalist that speaks out against you is too slow of an elimination tactic. It makes better sense to give them better tools to carry out their, and his, duplicitous agenda.
You don’t have to be a liberal or even very smart to realize that Trump isn’t qualified to be president of anything but his own fan club. That Man Without a Family
Those who oppose the complete release of all information in the Epstein case are in favor of protecting pedophiles. It’s obvious that Trump was a part of this whole sordid business, yet you people continue to believe every lie he tells. This is what America has come to.
RIP Bucky Brookshier. Twenty-four years as our coroner, and he did his job without advertising it. But I wonder how in the world Bucky rescued 487 bodies floating out of their graves during the ’94 flood without a decorated full-size, new Ford truck?
Sportswriters in Atlanta try to make it sound like the Falcons’ season is over with Penix out after being hurt. Hey, guys, the Falcons have lost five straight games with Penix playing. Can’t get much worse.
My wife suggested that if all I do is sit around the house and drink, I should become an under the influencer.
I was amazed at the attitude of so many of the people that receive food stamps (SNAP) when it looked like they might be cut off for a period of time. It shows America has raised generation after generation of people who think it is the responsibility of working Americans to feed them. They really think it is their God-given right to get free food. America created a monster with the food stamp and welfare programs of the 1960s.
… and without a backbone, you become a Republican.
Seems strange the way Trump fuels division. The last time I was at Walmart, the great equalizer showed up. They could care less about your status; they only asked for payment for goods and services. The same cost to all. Of course, Trump and his minions haven’t a clue about what that means, and neither do they care. Grifters don’t live on a fixed income.
Albany/Dougherty County is already one of the highest-taxed counties in Georgia. Now the criminal four in the county and the race-baiters in the city are proposing higher taxes. I guess somebody’s got to pay for the lawyer bills they rang up trying to defend their illegal actions with McCoy and to pay for the building projects for their con friends.
Emails just released now show that Trump knew about Epstein using under-age girls for sex parties. He also did spend time in his home, on plane rides, and he spent time on Epstein’s Fantasy Island. The only fantasy here is why the MAGA crowd still believes his lies that he’s not complicit.
Let’s get this straight: The dunces who worshipfully follow TRump are in favor of not releasing the Epstein Files because they’re afraid of what it might say about their worshipful master? So they’d rather a pedophile go free? You MAGATs are sick bozos.
SMRs, according to the True President, your money worries don’t exist. Can I get an amen?
If liars’ pants really did catch fire, a political debate would be a lot more fun to watch.
Feeding the Valley is doing it again. They are saying give them money and not food; if you give a dollar instead of a can of corn, they can take that dollar and buy 10 cans of corn. All a big lie. Any company that produces cans of corn has a truckload price. If you buy 100 truckloads, it is the same price as one truckload. Feeding the Valley needs the money to pay its bloated payroll for its nonprofit employees. This food insecurity thing is nothing but a shakedown.
